EEA Nationals Permanent Residence

The EEA national will be eligible for permanent residence once they have completed five continuous years in the UK.

Family members who are both EEA and non EEA may be included in the application.  It is important that EEA nationals who have not been undertaking an economic activity have comprehensive medical cover in the UK.  If the EEA national has been absent for two years, the residence period will be broken.

If an EEA national wants to apply for British Citizenship, they must first obtain a card certifying permanent residence.

How we can help
