Herrington Carmichael advises Futura Financial Services Group on its recent triple acquisition

Herrington Carmichael’s corporate team, led by Alex Canham, Partner, advised Futura Financial Services Group, a leading national consolidator of UK financial advisory businesses, on its latest three acquisitions.

Futura Financial Services Group acquired Carpenter Box Wealth Management LLP, the wealth management arm of an award-winning south-coast accounting business, increasing its client base in the south and solidifying its ongoing relationship with the wider accounting business. Futura also acquired further hubs in Birmingham with Whitefriars Financial Services Ltd, and in Glasgow with IFA World Ltd, to expand its presence in the Midlands and Scotland respectively.

Paul Ollerton, Chief Executive Officer of Futura Financial Services Group, commented: “We are delighted with the addition of the three firms, which have collectively added more than £500m of client assets to the Futura group. Alex and his team at HC were instrumental in facilitating the transactions which have cemented Futura’s position as one of the UK’s fastest growing consolidators. Our 100 strong team now includes over 30 financial planners and manages client assets of more than £1.4bn for over 5,000 clients.”
