Rosannah Gaisford

Rosannah Gaisford is an experienced Legal Director who has advised clients for 12 years on the resolution of their large, complex, domestic and cross-border disputes, whether through negotiated settlement, expert determination, litigation, or arbitration. Her cases have ranged in value from tens of thousands to several billion pounds.

Rosannah also advises clients at the contract negotiation stage, and when contractual relationships come under strain, helping to manage risk, minimise the likelihood of future disputes, and protect commercial relationships. 

Her diverse client base includes private individuals, entrepreneurs, SMEs, FTSE-listed and publicly traded companies, and international corporations, operating across the retail, energy, technology, insurance, marine, financial services, and manufacturing sectors, amongst others.

Pragmatic and commercially focused, she ensures that every strategy aligns with her client’s objectives while achieving the most efficient and effective resolution possible.

Recent instructions include:

• Representing two individuals in a £1 million High Court claim for deferred consideration;
• Defending a £100,000 claim for an insurer involving a point of wider public importance;
• Representing an international energy company in a £70 million High Court claim;
• Defending a £50 million arbitral claim for a global retail group; and
• Representing a technology company in a £2 million High Court claim.
