Kate Hardesty

Kate Hardesty is the Resourcing Manager within the Human Resources team responsible for developing, shaping and driving the Firm’s recruitment activity.

Kate is an experienced Human Resources Manager with particular expertise in recruitment and selection. Previously, Kate worked for a leading UK employer providing the full range of HR Business Partner support and has helped businesses to identify the best potential employee available to help drive the business forward.

Kate holds a Psychology degree and a postgraduate diploma in Personnel Management. Kate is also qualified in the use of several psychometric test systems.

Kate developed the apprenticeship recruitment programme for Centrica in addition to leading the Resourcing team which filled approximately 1000 vacancies a year. Kate then went on to work as an HR consultant for SME’s providing the full range of HR support at both a strategic and operational level before joining Herrington Carmichael LLP.

In her spare time Kate volunteers at a local Foodbank and enjoys walking her dog and open water swimming.
