The Opportunity:

As a Real Estate Fee Earner with a focus on development, you’ll work with a diverse portfolio of clients on a range of high-profile development projects. You’ll handle your own caseload, providing expert advice on transactions, negotiating key terms, and coordinating with other legal professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer looking to deepen their expertise in real estate development while working on challenging and rewarding cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a caseload of real estate development matters, including acquisitions, disposals, and leasehold transactions.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating development agreements, leases, and other related documentation.
  • Conducting due diligence and coordinating with colleagues across departments to provide a seamless client service.
  • Advising clients on development-related legal issues and providing practical solutions.
  • Assisting in business development activities to support the growth of the department, including networking and attending industry events.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • 2-3 years of PQE in Real Estate, with a particular focus on development.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of the development process, including planning and environmental considerations.
  • A client-focused approach, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and prioritize effectively.
  • Interest in business development and networking within the real estate industry.
