Redundancy and Re-organisation
Redundancy and re-organisation can be a difficult time for employees whether you are directly affected or not.
If you feel the redundancy or reorganisation process you are involved in is being conducted unfairly or unlawfully we can advise you on whether your employer is following the right process.
Where headcount is being reduced or where your place of work is being closed down, the situation can often lead to unfair dismissal and discrimination claims. If you are in a situation where 20 or more employees are being made redundant at one establishment, this may give rise to collective consultation obligations which we will be happy to advise you on.
If you are being treated unfairly in a redundancy or reorganisation the team at Herrington Carmichael will advise you what your rights are and support you in seeking to enforce those rights including where appropriate, pursuing your employment claims in the Employment Tribunal.
