Sarah Speed

Sarah is a Partner and the Head of our Family Law team. She works with and has supervisory responsibilities for an exceptional team of skilled family lawyers and legal support staff who share a commitment to providing outstanding service and client care.

When not working, Sarah can usually be found outside, in her wellies or walking boots, gardening, or walking her dog. Sarah also spends her time keeping fit at her weekly ballet and yoga classes and enjoys all things classical: art, literature, music, dance.

Sarah has been practicing law since 1998, initially in London but in the home counties since 2012. Sarah has been fortunate in her career to work in Tier 1 legal teams and feels privileged to regularly work with leading barristers, and other professionals in connection with her role as a family law specialist.

Sarah has a wealth of experience acting for married and non-married clients from all sectors, including the music industry, pharmaceuticals, financial services, business owners and the uniformed services. Sarah has negotiated client-focussed financial settlements for the last 20+ years whether court-led or in in private hearings and arbitrations.

Sarah also assists clients to resolve issues concerning their children, adopting a sensitive approach and striving to ensure amicable solutions where the child’s best interests are always placed front and centre. Strategic and pragmatic, Sarah is ever mindful of the bigger picture whilst recognising that the devil is inevitably in the detail.
