Robert joined Herrington Carmichael in June 2023 as a newly qualified solicitor and works in the Corporate department. Robert advises clients on share and asset sales and purchases with a particular focus on companies in the financial services sector. Robert has advised a number of owners of financial advice companies and insurance brokers on their company sales to industry consolidators.
Prior to entering the legal sector Robert worked in corporate account management, finance and project roles for international and national companies.
Outside of work Robert is a keen cyclist and hiker as well as an occasional golfer.
Experience
Assisting on:
- The £4.1m sale of an IFA business to a private equity backed national consolidator.
- A sale of a financial advice business to a national consolidator for consideration of approximately £1,596,000.
