Olivia Larkin

Olivia is a commercial solicitor and qualified in September 2023 having completed her training contract at Herrington Carmichael.
Olivia assists on general commercial, data protection, intellectual property and media and communications law projects. Her work includes drafting and negotiating a range of commercial agreements, including SaaS agreements, B2B business terms, B2C consumer contracts, data processing agreements and trademark applications.
Olivia has a keen interest in the media sector, particularly concerning influencer marketing strategies and advertising. She has experience both in private practice and in-house, having previously worked at a medium-large sized insurance and dispute resolution firm and for a FTSE 100 technology company.
When not at work, Olivia is a keen traveller and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Experience
- Assisting overseas counsel in providing advice concerning UK Influencer and Marketing rules, in respect of international medical products being launched in the UK
- Assisting a multi-global company in producing a suite of both commercial and data protection documents, to be used within the sports events and entertainment industry
- Assisting with the commercial aspects of the $60M acquisition of a NYSE listed satellite communications company
- Assisting with intellectual property portfolio management and drawing up a variety of intellectual property licences
- Supporting businesses with their general data protection needs including drafting DPAs, providing advice on international transfers and subject access requests
