Nisha Gill
Senior Solicitor, Residential Property
Nisha joined Herrington Carmichael in August 2024 as a Senior Solicitor within the Residential Property department.
Before qualifying as a Solicitor in June 2019, Nisha studied the Bar Professional Training Course in London and was called to the Bar in 2012 by Gray’s Inn. She did not pursue a pupillage and is a non-practising Barrister. She remains a member of Gray’s Inn.
Through Nisha’s career, she has prided herself on forming good working relationships, wanting to learn more, and always trying to expand her skill set. Nisha has worked in a variety of firms, from high street to large corporate firms across Surrey since 2013 and has a wealth of experience of differing client needs.
As an experienced property lawyer, Nisha handles a wide range of residential property matters for both individuals and business clients alike. In her previous firms, Nisha acted for purchasers of new build properties on a development scale. She has in addition acted for smaller developers, portfolio property owners and management companies, so is used to fast paced environments and sticking to deadlines.
Outside of work, Nisha is a keen movie goer, an enthusiast for watching sports (mainly Football, Rugby, Cricket, and Nine Ball Pool) as well as being an avid traveller. Nisha lived in Sweden and the Philippines in her childhood and conveniently has friends dotted across the globe to visit!
