Emma Docking

Emma is a Solicitor in the Corporate and Commercial department, specifically in the Healthcare and Tech specialisms headed by Corporate Partner, Matthew Lea. She is the former National Representative of the Junior Lawyers Division for Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire (JLD BB&O), where she assisted in organising events and networking with junior members within the legal industry across the three counties.
Once an avid collegiate sportswoman in Florida, Emma no longer plays sports, much to her dismay, but continues to stay fit where possible by training regularly and being in the outdoors. You may also see her on the golf course here and there, playing in an annual charity event with clients or for networking.
In her spare time, Emma is a keen world traveller, having been to over 40 countries and counting and loves to experience new cultures and food. She is also a big lover of animals, all foods (and cooking), gardening and the sun.

- £60m M&A and Reorganisation of NYSE listed satellite communication company to TSX-listed Canadian Satellite Builder, with involvement from Herrington Carmichael’s Commercial, Employment and Immigration teams.
- £9.5m Sale to multi-national sports technology business
- £7m sale of entire issued share capital and merger of NetSuite Solution Provider to FPE Capital Private Equity
- £3.5m acquisition of an Irish HQd transport, warehousing and logistics software solutions provider
- Over £10m in aggregate of entire issued share capital sales of various dental laboratories to multi-national Dental brand, CORUS, with the same goal of integration of dental laboratories within Europe.
