Stephanie joined the firm in September 2017 as a Paralegal in the Residential Property department and has since started her Training Contract. Stephanie has completed her seats in the Corporate and Commercial, Dispute Resolution and Real Estate and is now in her final seat in the Corporate and Commercial department into which she will qualify in March 2020.
Stephanie Graduated with an upper second class honours in law in 2016 and then went on to obtain a distinction in her LPC in 2017. Stephanie has previous commercial legal experience, where she focused on reviewing commercial contracts.
Experience | Key projects
- Assisted on the appointment of a new customer platform provider based in the U.S this included in depth negotiations with the service provider and assistance with amending the master services agreement and statement of works. Running in parallel we were instructed to assist with the termination of the existing service provider which Stephanie assisted with.
- Reported on and amended a software licence agreement to be integrated into our client’s product to be sold globally.
- Drafted a leading car technology manufacturer’s online terms and conditions for the supply of goods to consumers, including a warranty and returns policy. The product was to be sold in the EU and as part of the exercise, we instructed and managed local counsel in relation to the translation of the documents and to advise on the impact of local mandatory law. In addition, Stephanie assisted with the process to include ensuring that the documents were localised to ensure compliance with local consumer law whilst ensuring as much consistency as possible with the English law documents.
- Stephanie has provided commercial law assistance to a leading power equipment company including drafting, website terms and conditions, online training services terms and conditions, competition terms and conditions and electronic battery registration terms and conditions.
Interests and Hobbies
In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys keeping active and going to the gym. She also enjoys spending time with her friends and family, and going on spontaneous adventures.
