Sophie joined Herrington Carmichael as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2019. Her first seat was in the Residential Property Department. She has completed an extended seat in our Dispute Resolution Department. Sophie worked closely with all members of our dispute resolution team and has so far gained experience a variety of areas, including: Contentious Insolvency; Intellectual Property Law; Breach of Contract Disputes; Contentious Probate and Contentious Commercial and Residential Property. Sophie is now completing her final seat within our Private Wealth & Inheritance department.
Sophie achieved a First Class Honours Degree in LLB Law from The University of Surrey in 2018. Sophie won the Award for Best Overall Performance and has since completed her LPC LLM at The University of Law, achieving a Distinction. Sophie has previous experience working with Solicitors, Solicitor-Advocates and Barristers across a variety of legal areas.
Outside of work, Sophie enjoys keeping active by going to the gym. She also enjoys going kayaking and spending time with her family and friends.
