Areas of responsibility
Kate qualified into the Corporate & Commercial Department in September 2017 having previously completed a commercially focused training contract with the firm.
Kate deals with a variety of corporate matters including share sales and purchases, asset sales and purchases, shareholder agreements, and other business ownership matters. She also supports the departments commercial side and in particular has experience working on intellectual property matters, particularly trade mark applications within the UK and the EU.
- Acquisitions and disposals – Advising a number of financial advisory firms on acquisitions and disposals, with consideration ranging from £500,000 to upwards of £5,000,000.
- Advising a leading regional domiciliary care business in the sale of the business for a seven figure sum.
- A joint venture agreement within the insurance industry.
- Intellectual Property – Advising on a number of trade mark applications both in the UK and the EU, for the protection of both work marks and logos.

Interests and Hobbies
Outside of work Kate enjoys travelling with friends to near and far flung places, and has recently visited Stockholm and the Canadian Rockies. Kate is also a keen skier and Crystal Palace fan.
