Julija Kazlauskaite

Julija Kazlauskaite is a Solicitor within the Real Estate Department who joined Herrington Carmichael in January 2023, having qualified in September 2022.

Julija graduated from Leeds Beckett University with a First Class degree in Law in 2018, during which she received the prestigious “Leeds Law School Prize Awarded for the Best Overall Performance” for her academic excellence. She then studied the Legal Practice Course with a Masters in Law at the University of Law in Guildford, for which she secured the “Law First Postgraduate Scholarship”. Julija completed her postgraduate studies with an overall Distinction.

Julija then commenced her training contract in September 2020 in the City of London, during which she completed her seats in Commercial Property, Residential Property and Dispute Resolution. As part of her training, Julija worked on a range of transactions, varying from development work, including option agreements, disposals and acquisitions, to commercial Landlord and Tenant work, involving drafting and negotiating leases, dealing with assignments, lease variations and surrenders.

Having a qualified as a Solicitor, Julija then expanded her knowledge in Commercial Property further through working on finance and refinance transactions.

Outside of work Julija particularly enjoys long-distance running, cycling, cooking and listening to podcasts about human psychology and history.
