Jodie is a Senior Paralegal in our Private Client team. She advises clients on Wills, Probate, Powers of Attorney and Trusts.
Jodie has particular expertise in helping clients achieve their wishes in their Wills and also dealing with estates. She has advised Executors on all sizes of estates and various beneficiaries including charities. Jodie is an expert in advising clients in relation to Powers of Attorney.
As well as having in depth knowledge of Probate law and the duties of Executors, Jodie understands the importance of balancing legal and practical requirements with the sensitivity of the situation.
Experience | Recent Projects
Jodie qualified as a Specialist Paralegal in Estate Administration 2011 and became a member of STEP in June 2015. Some of her career highlights to date include:
- Removing an incapacitated Trustee from a Trust with a successful Court application
- Jodie has dealt with estates where a husband and wife have passed away in very close succession.
- Preparing Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney for a family of four who had no provisions in place.
- Jodie featured in the Sunday Times newspaper providing advice in relation to Digital Assets.
Interests and Hobbies
In her spare time, Jodie enjoys running and going to the gym. Jodie likes to travel and particularly enjoyed a holiday to Bali in 2019 which included surfing, horse-riding and sampling the local cuisine. Jodie is a qualified horse-riding instructor and volunteers for British Eventing when she can.
