Areas of responsibility
Helen joined the firm as a paralegal in the Residential Property department in January 2017 and started her Training Contract on 1 September 2017. Helen completed her first seat in the Family and Matrimonial department, working closely with Maria Mulroe and Danielle Bentley, assisting in all aspects of family law including divorce, financial aspects of marriage or relationship breakdown and issues concerning arrangements for children.
Helen has completed her second seat in the Private Client department, where she gained experience in drafting Wills, preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney and administering Trusts and Estates. Helen worked closely with the other members of the Private Client department assisting on their matters.
Helen is now completing her third seat in the Corporate and Commercial department and is due to qualify in September 2019.
Helen graduated with an upper second class law degree from the University of Kent in 2014 and went on to obtain a distinction in her Masters in International Law in 2015. Helen completed her LPC at the University of Law in 2017 with a distinction.
Helen has previous experience in family law, specifically domestic violence and private and public children cases.
Interests and Hobbies
In her free time Helen enjoys cooking and baking, travelling and running. Helen also enjoys fundraising for various charities, and is often found taking part in challenges such as bike rides and running races.
