Faye qualified into our Private Client Department in September 2016. Prior to this Faye completed a specialised training contract with the firm focusing on all Private Client matters and working within the team for over a year.
Faye is a student member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
Faye advises on all areas of Private Client Law including the drafting of simple and complex Wills; the preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney; the administration of trusts and estates and both pre death and post death estate planning.
Faye is very understanding and has a warm approach with Clients. She is able to give clear advice tailored to the needs of her Client.
Faye joined the firm in July 2014.
- Negotiating with the Revenue and the Valuation Office over the correct valuation for a property within an estate, saving the family over £14,000 in Inheritance Tax.
- Applying to the Probate Registry to prove a copy codicil where the original document could not be located because the firm who had prepared it had since gone out of business.
- Advising on the inclusion of Life Interest Trusts in Wills to protect against possible future care home fees.
