Claire Helling

Claire is a senior solicitor in the employment team who has over 10 years’ experience of working with a variety of clients across varying industries. One of Claire’s key strengths is to be able to identify the needs of her clients to provide high quality, specialist, and commercially effective advice.

Claire has demonstrable experience of guiding clients through a myriad of employment law challenges, including TUPE, redundancy, settlement negotiations and dismissals of senior executives, as well as providing HR expertise on disciplinaries, grievances and long-term sickness absence.

Claire advises on complex Employment Tribunal claims, such as discrimination, whistleblowing and unfair dismissal. Claire was listed in the Legal 500 as a ‘Rising Star’ in for three consecutive years (2022-2024) and has also been listed as a ‘Key Lawyer’ in both 2023 and 2024. This recognition has come from her expertise in managing complex Tribunal cases, senior management and director business exits, and the significant work she has done for her charity and care sector clients.
