Interests and Hobbies
Outside of work, Chris is a particularly keen sportsman. You can often find him at Vicarage Road, supporting Watford. He also enjoys cycling, having recently cycled from London to Rome and completing the Prudential Ride 100 London. Chris is a keen runner, having completed a number of half-marathons.
We recently instructed Chris to assist us with security arrangements to be provided by our UK group company pursuant to a loan facility being made to an overseas group company. Chris actually took the leadership in all of our contacts with the UK lawyer of the Israeli bank and guided us with all the elements of bringing the transaction to an end. As the transaction was led by the overseas financial team of the group Chris involvement was even more important with the fact that we were not familiar with all local requirements and could have made mistakes as a result of this lack of knowledge. I was impressed with Chris’ efforts in working out all the details and bringing the transaction to a successful closure additionally, he made the gaps between the UK law and our overseas business behaviour clear and manageable. We enjoyed working with Chris for his professionalism, responsiveness and availability to support our requirements on a short alert. I am sure that without Chris’ support in dealing with the banks numerous requirements, we would not have been able to complete within our desired time frame. I am hopeful we will find the opportunity to work together again in the future.”
