Andrew works closely with Herrington Carmichael’s Compliance Board, advising in his capacity of in-house counsel on legal and regulatory matters relating to the firm, including in relation to the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and data protection. Andrew also assists the firm with its general commercial matters including drafting, negotiating and advising on commercial contracts.
Before taking up an in-house role, Andrew specialised in general commercial litigation and practice in leading city law firms.
Andrew holds a bachelor’s degree from Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages and a PHD in International Law from University of World Economy and Diplomacy, Tashkent, Uzbekistan. He completed his English law studies at BPP Law School in London.
Andrew is very familiar with the CIS region, particularly Russia, the Ukraine and Uzbekistan. He is a native speaker of Russian, Uzbek and Tajik.
