Robert Frampton

 

Areas of Responsibility
Robert joined Herrington Carmichael in September 2013 and qualified as a solicitor in September 2015.

Since January 2015, Robert has specialised in employment law and has become an integral member of the Employment department. He provides support to both corporate entities and individual clients on a wide variety of employment matters.

Robert has a particular interest in and understanding of the commercial transactions undertaken by the Employment department. This includes advice and assistance upon the impact on employees of actual or proposed mergers, acquisitions and takeovers of businesses. This includes providing advice on the TUPE aspects of such transactions, tailoring acquisition agreements and advising on the applicable information and consultation processes. 

Robert also has a passion for and is adept in other areas of employment law. This includes advising on complex areas of discrimination and assisting with detailed claims and proceedings being pursued by employees or defended by employers.

Experience/Recent Projects

Prior to joining the Employment department, Robert undertook training in the Company Commercial, Dispute Resolution, Private Client and Residential Property departments working on a variety of different commercial and private matters. Robert studied law at the University of Exeter and completed his legal practice course at the College of Law in Guildford.

Interests and Hobbies

Robert is an Arsenal fan and tries to watch them as often as he can. As well as watching football, he will get involved in or watch most sports including football, tennis, badminton and cricket. Robert has a keen interest in fitness and has competed in the Windsor half marathon.
