Areas of Responsibility:

Working in the Corporate & Commercial department since 2012, Matt predominantly acts for clients with commercial legal requirements including data protection & privacy law audits & polices, terms and conditions of sale and supply, distribution agreements, outsourcing agreements and software and licensing agreements.

Experience / Recent Projects:

Matt’s recent experience includes advising:

  • An online clothes retailer on terms and conditions of sale and privacy policy (including liaising with French and German advisers on cross-border elements)
  • A software developer on software reseller agreement including template end-user licence agreement
  • A leading UK retailer of in-car safety systems on suite of documents including:

    i) online T&Cs for the supply of goods (B2B)
    ii) online T&Cs for the supply of goods (B2C); and
    iii) privacy policy, acceptable use policy and cookie policy.

  • A client on and drafting mobile app terms and conditions, privacy policy and cookie policy for launch of online communications app including free and paid for versions of the app; and
  • A client in connection with consumer credit application, including drafting and advising on consumer credit agreement and vulnerable customer policy.

Interests and Hobbies

Matt enjoys watching rugby and walking his Bulldog-Rottweiler cross called “Nacho”.
