Ravi Francis
Ravi is a Solicitor in the Private Client Department. He joined the firm in October 2011, and previously worked in a legal 500 firm based in Birmingham city centre and Solihull.
Ravi specialises in Wills and other means of succession planning, probate, Powers of Attorney and the Court of Protection, and the creation and administration of trusts.
He is a student member of the Society for Trust and Estates Practitioners, and is a member of the Law Society Private Client Section.
Recent instructions include:
- Advising a prominent author on planning the management of her literary estate after her death, whilst providing for her family members;
- Advising an elderly couple who own a business on how best to ensure the survival of the business when the first of them died, and thus securing the future of surviving spouse, whilst also providing for their large family;
- Advising a widow living abroad on her position when her estranged husband died in the UK, and the executors refused to acknowledge her interest in the estate;
- Advising on an application for a Deputyship Order in the Court of Protection, and continuing to advise the applicant when the matter was contested by other family members.
