Maria trained and remained upon qualification with Charles Russell for a number of years. She has also worked with leading family law departments in both London and the South coast. She has extensive experience in all aspects of matrimonial law, in particular dealing with mid to high net worth financial cases often with an international element.

She represented a father who was seeking residence of his children. The father was awarded full residence following an appeal and separate representation of the children.
