Jill Robinson
Jill Robinson is a solicitor in the Dispute Resolution team.
Jill specialises in civil and commercial litigation for both businesses and individuals. Areas of work that she regularly handles for businesses include contract disputes, debt recovery and building disputes. Legal disputes that Jill assists individuals with include landlord and tenant disputes, inheritance matters and property disputes.
Examples of recent work include:
- Successfully defending a claim brought against a building company for breach of contract after it was alleged that they walked off site;
- Prompt recovery of in excess of 100 debts due to a national company;
- On behalf of the landlord, promptly and cost effectively obtained possession of a property from the tenants who had stopped paying their rent.
Jill's aim is to ensure that she fully explores her client's preferred outcome at the earliest opportunity. This enables her to then discuss the suitable options available, manage expectations and set out the merits of each option to help her clients find the best solution for them. Jill is experienced in negotiating out of court settlements including use of mediation.
Jill is a member of the Association of Women Solicitors.
