Frankie Tierney

Frankie Tierney is Head of Dispute Resolution and Chief Executive. She qualified with the firm in 1985 and became a partner in 1989. She was appointed Chief Executive in 1999.

Frankie specialises in resolving commercial and individual disputes. She is a highly experienced litigator . Frankie represents companies, professional practices, shareholders, partners and individuals on a broad range of disputes. These disputes include contract disputes, business to business disputes, employment disagreements, shareholder and partnership disputes, professional negligence, property claims, debt recovery, probate and inheritance claims.

Frankie regularly handles work in the High Court, County Court and Lands Tribunal as well as arbitrations, mediations and expert determinations.

Her aim is to deliver cost-effective, commercial solutions that align with her clients’ objectives. As well as resolving disputes Frankie works with her clients to put procedures in place to reduce the risk of any future litigation.

Frankie’s recent work includes acting in dilapidation claims for commercial buildings at the end of a lease, advising and settling a dispute on behalf of a client over monies owed by a foreign registered airline company, acting for a commercial property developer on a £3 million claim against a local authority, and representing a client on a claim for possessory title of a piece of land essential to the client’s future expansion and development plans.

Frankie is an executive member of Surrey Heath Chamber of Commerce and a Board member of Surrey Chamber of Commerce. She frequently writes and delivers seminars to businesses and local trade bodies on dispute resolution matters.
