Adrian Job
Adrian Job became a partner in Herrington & Carmichael in 1970 and senior partner in 1988. Adrian is a specialist adviser on residential and commercial property development. Work involves land acquisition for development; sale of consented land to developers and Housing Associations; option agreements and conditional contracts; strategic land options; planning agreements and unilateral undertakings and associated sales to local authorities; joint venture agreements; consortium, collaboration and profit-sharing agreements.
Adrian’s recent transactions include an acquisition of land with a value of £29 million with the benefit of planning permission for development; Option Agreements on various strategic sites in the South East and North of England of up to 80 acres; Planning Agreements and Unilateral Undertakings on various sites to include provision for affordable housing, payments in respect of Special Protection Areas, and various other planning gain contributions.
Adrian has also overseen Consortium/Collaboration Agreements in respect of multi-developer sites in Cambridge, Aylesbury, Northampton, Horley, Wokingham and Stevenage and profit-sharing agreements in respect of sites in Suffolk, Hampshire, North London, Dorset and Buckinghamshire.
Adrian's outside interests include golf, travel and reading books on military history: he also enjoys time spent with his grandchildren.
