Separation Agreements
When a marriage breaks down not everyone wants a divorce straightaway. A separation agreement is an option in these circumstances. It records how they have agreed to divide the assets and what financial responsibility each party will take on.
If divorce proceedings are subsequently commenced, the Court will often turn the agreement into a final order provided it is fair to both parties and was arrived at in the correct way. We are happy to advise and prepare such an agreement for you.
